These sites are known as scams. Anything that wants you to pay upfront is probably a scam. Anything that promises fortune for virtually no work is a scam. If you respond to a job posting and someone replies asking you to visit their site and buy a product, it’s a scam. If someone you have contacted comes back with a job offer that is not what their original job description was, it’s also a scam.
If employers are secretive and try to hide names, pay rates, tax information, or job descriptions, this is a red flag for scammers. Be careful when looking on work-at-home sites, and never give out billing information, credit card numbers, or bank account numbers. Your savings and identity could end up gone in the blink of an eye.
