My family and my work at home based business opportunity

I have a great time with my work at home based business opportunity. Most people don’t believe that I enjoy working as much as I do, but I do. I can remember sitting down one Thanksgiving to dinner with my family and every one asked me what I did for a living. My dad who tends to be somewhat old fashioned couldn’t wait to hear how I responded to their questions.

Now what you have to understand is that I have a huge family and when it comes to Thanksgiving, it feels like the entire clan is in the house. So when we start talking about what each one of the kids do, everyone listens and ooos and ahs or simply stays silent depending on what each person does. So after hearing about how Cousin Josh was just promoted to being CEO of his firm and how Cousin Susan was made Regional director, my dad decides then that he wants the family to hear about what I do for a living. How convenient of him. He always thinks that I’m going to be up in arms about my work at home based business opportunity, or that I’m going to be embarrassed to tell everyone what I do.

So when I began to tell them about my multi level marketing businesses, the new CEO had a few thoughts regarding how my business would turn out. Funny thing is, I wasn’t new to this business but good ole Cousin Josh didn’t seem to remember that. I of course simply kept on explaining what I do to my other family members who seemed to be either very intrigued or very bored; I’m not really sure which one, until they remembered what I drove up to the house in. And then one of the other cousins recounted coming to my house for a party for one of our other cousins and all of sudden, they seemed to be very interested in what I did. Yes even Mr. CEO seemed to change his tune.

Needless to say, good old dad was sitting in his recliner smirking. I think secretly he likes putting me on the spot to show up his siblings and their kids. I can’t tell you how many of my aunts, uncles and cousins left wanting to get at my work at home based business opportunity. I can take it, and it makes mom pretty proud to know that her kid has done well, even if it’s not something that they consider as a conventional business opportunity.
