Sometimes the hardest thing for people to get involved in is a work at home business opportunity and mlm.  I have found that sometimes people want the opportunity but they just don’t take it because they are afraid of taking risks.  And I’m not talking about the type of risk that major investors take.  No, I’m talking about risk like that of say some of your time and a few dollars.  Often times, it’s just your time that is needed for the opportunity.

Ok for starters I want a company that is reputable.   There are a lot of people who are only out for themselves and so they look to prey upon innocent, unsuspecting individuals who are looking to find honest work from home.  These individuals run scams that take good people’s hard working money and leave them with nothing.  So you need to make sure that any company you look into has been around for at least five years.  This means that they have proven themselves.

Next you want to make sure that any work at home companies you look into are profitable.  It’s one thing to barely be in business for years, then to be in business making a profit for years.  This will ensure you that the company is financial stable and that most importantly they can pay you when it’s time to get paid.

Another thing to look for is the reality of the flexibility of the company.  There are lots of companies around that tell you, you can work from home, but then they require you to come in about 45% of the time that you are working for them.  This isn’t really what most people are looking for when they think of work at home companies.  But if you are in the market for the ability to work from home as well as work in an office then this would be ideal for you.  If you are one of those people who want to work 100% away from an office, then this wouldn’t work.  So make sure you are clear on that company’s definition of working from home.
