2. The product
Another tell-tale sign of a company with legitimate multi-level marketing plans is the product or products that they are selling. Check out what they are asking you to sell. Are they being made by the company themselves? Do they have factories in the area? Did they develop their own products? Find out. Scam artists frequently do not have so much supply of their products. What they will only have are papers or documents that they will pass on to the clients as genuine. Some will have short supply of products but they will not be manufacturing the products themselves. They will not have any factories.
